Creating dynamic collections using the new tag functionality is incredibly quick and easy. This will allow you to curate your collections, so your campaigns and products are all grouped together by tag.
This guide shows you how to create a campaign with a tag. Add tags to existing campaigns. And create your dynamic collection.
Click Add campaign to start.
Name the campaign.
To create a tag, type its name and press enter. The text changes to a pill shape, confirming the tag is created and added. You can add more tags, but this demo uses one.
Click Add products.
Select the product to build and press Start designing. We’ll choose a cap here.
Add your artwork and colour variations. When satisfied, press "continue to pricing".
Choose your price and press Continue to review.
Name the product.
Press Save and continue.
Press Publish to add this campaign to your store.
Now add the tag to other campaigns. Find the campaign to tag and click Edit.
Click Add tags to see your created tags/. Click the tag and press Save details.
Repeat for a few more campaigns.
Now create the collection. Click Collections in the sidebar.
Click Create a collection.
Name the collection.
Click the button to make this a dynamic campaign.
Under Conditions, press "add another condition".
Change the selection type to Tag.
The next selector changes to "is one of" automatically.
Add the tag created earlier.
Press "save collection".
Publish the changes to the store.
After publishing, visit the store to see the collection. Near the top of the store, click your new collection. The screen shows its four campaigns.
You should ensure that all new campaigns have tags to build dynamic collections and support upcoming tag-related platform features.
